The BAFTA-nominated and Oscar-shortlisted thriller SANTOSH is not allowed to release in India, however U.S. audiences will get to see the acclaimed film when it releases in cinemas in numerous major cities this Friday, January 31st. Set in rural Northern India, the film follows a recent widow who inherits her late-husband’s job as a police constable and is drawn into a moral underworld while investigating the murder of a low-caste girl.
