Two voices that defined an era of Hindi film romance are singing together again. Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu have reunited after 21 years for “Suniyo Zara,” a new song from Sunny Deol’s upcoming film SURYAA: Ant Se Aarambh Tak, scheduled for release on October 27.
The collaboration is a deliberate throwback. Narayan and Sanu dominated Bollywood playback through the 1990s and early 2000s, and their reunion — composed by Raj Aashoo with lyrics by Priya Sariya — arrives as the film’s soundtrack builds toward its November 20 theatrical release.
The song’s first-look poster leans into the film’s lighter side, showing Deol and his co-stars in a carefree moment — a contrast to the crime-thriller tone of the teaser, which framed SURYAA as a fight against corruption in the medical system. For listeners who grew up on the duo’s duets, the question now is whether “Suniyo Zara” can recapture that old magic for a new generation.
