Shah Rukh Khan has given fans a fresh look at King, unveiling a striking new poster for the action-thriller on Tuesday. The poster shows the superstar with a rose between his lips and a gun in his hand, staring down the camera with an intense look — and Khan summed up the mood himself with a single line: Qaatil nahi… Aashiq hoon.
The poster also confirms the film’s release date: King arrives in cinemas on December 24, 2026. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film marks a first for Khan, who shares the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time. Suhana made her acting debut with The Archies in 2023, and King will be her first theatrical outing alongside her father.
The ensemble around them is stacked: Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma all feature in the film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. Khan was last seen on the big screen in Dunki in 2023, and anticipation for his return has been building with every new glimpse of King.
