The new trailer and poster for Payal Kapadia’s acclaimed film, ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT, have debuted. The film won the Grand Prize at this year’s prestigious Cannes Film Festival and has been celebrated by audiences at top festivals, including the Toronto International Film Festival and the New York Film Festival. With a perfect 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, the award-winning motion picture begins its theatrical release on November 15th.
ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT explores and celebrates the light, lives, and textures of contemporary, working-class Mumbai. The film centers on two roommates, head nurse Prabha and recent hire Anu, who work together in a city hospital, along with their coworker, cook Parvaty. Kapadia’s film captures moments of connection and heartache, hope and disappointment, creating a soulful study of the transformative power of friendship and sisterhood in all its complexities and richness.
