Pakistani singer Aima Baig appears to have confirmed her split from husband Zain Ahmad with a new Instagram post that simply says “Status : Single” followed by “Kthanksbyeeeee.”
The post, shared from her verified official account 8 hours ago, is the first direct statement from Aima herself since weeks of divorce rumors began circulating.
For context, the rumors started when fans noticed Zain had unfollowed Aima and his wedding photos had disappeared from his grid. Zain then addressed it in a Story, saying his account was bugging out and posts had been archived by mistake. He re-followed Aima and restored the wedding pictures, which had calmed things down temporarily.
Then Aima deactivated her Instagram, shared a cryptic Story saying “You all are right, but I should have listened to others,” and went offline. That deactivation is why many people, including me earlier, could not open the new post link directly.
Now with her account back and the new caption up, fans are reading it as confirmation that the rumors were true. She has not posted a longer statement or mentioned divorce paperwork, but the “Status : Single” line is being taken as her official announcement of a separation.
