Avinash Mishra has won Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, ending his run on Rohit Shetty’s stunt reality show with the trophy and a Rs 20 lakh cash prize. The television actor beat Rithvik Dhanjani and Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, in the final showdown, according to The Indian Express.
His prize haul also includes a trip to Europe and a new car. But the story behind the win is about more than what he takes home: Mishra described the season as a test that changed his own belief in himself.
A season built on nerve
The competition put new challengers up against returning contestants, with stunts ranging from heights to underwater tasks. India Today reports that an underwater contest against Karan Wahi helped Mishra become the season’s first finalist. The finale then brought a helicopter-to-water stunt and a last push against Dhanjani and Orry.
That journey gives the result its weight. On a stunt show, screen presence can only take a contestant so far; the next challenge still has to be faced. Mishra’s win puts his performance under pressure at the centre of the conversation.
“The biggest victory”
In a statement quoted by The Indian Express, Mishra said: “I came to Khatron Ke Khiladi wanting to test myself; I am leaving with a belief in myself that I didn’t have before. That, for me, is the biggest victory.”
He also spoke about learning to shut out distractions and trust himself when a stunt became frightening. For viewers who followed his progress through KKK 15, the trophy closes that arc: a new challenger finishes as the season’s winner.
