Nearly fourteen years after Housefull 2, Akshay Kumar is getting the band back together with director Sajid Khan. The two are teaming up on an untitled comedy produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, and the cast already looks like an ensemble designed to raise eyebrows — R Madhavan, Disha Patani and Shriya Saran have all come aboard.
The project is being described as an out-and-out comedy of errors revolving around middle-aged men, which makes the pairing of Akshay and Madhavan particularly interesting casting. Reports say the film is planned to shoot in London by the end of 2026 or early 2027, once Khan wraps his current project, Hero Ki Horrorine.
For Sajid Khan, the reunion is a notable moment — his Housefull films were among the defining comedies of their era, and a fresh Khan-Akshay collaboration instantly lands on the list of Bollywood releases to watch next year.
