Emraan Hashmi’s Gunmaaster G9 has locked a crucial piece of its global rollout. Phars Films has acquired the overseas distribution rights for the action-romance ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026. Phars Films holds an established presence in international film distribution with a strong focus on the Middle East, giving the film a dedicated partner for territories outside India as it marches toward its opening weekend.
The international deal follows PEN Marudhar coming on board as the film’s all-India distributor — the same banner behind the record Rs 300 crore Love & War theatrical agreement. With domestic and overseas lanes now mapped out, the distribution network is effectively complete, although the financial terms of the Phars Films arrangement have not been made public.
Directed by Aditya Datt and produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut and Sangeeta Ahir, presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment, Gunmaaster G9 stars Emraan Hashmi alongside Genelia D’Souza, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh. The promotional campaign has been gathering steam with the teaser and the first song, ‘Afsaana Banaaya Aapne’, reuniting Hashmi with composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya — a partnership fans still associate with the actor’s early musical hits. With action, romance and a high-profile soundtrack in play, G9 is shaping up as one of the notable Bollywood releases of the year-end window.
