The trailer for Nakhrewaalii is finally here, and it confirms the film’s playful pitch: a rom-com with a ‘womantic’ twist that flips the Majnu-Laila dynamic on its head. Newcomers Ansh Duggal and Pragati Srivastava lead the film as a couple whose romance unfolds through banter, chaos, and a battle of expectations — all built on the tagline the poster teased earlier this week: “Kabhi Pyaar Mein Majnu Ko Bhi Laila Banna Padta Hai.”
The promo leans into comedy about the way men talk about love and fairness, skewering the double standards that surface when casual attraction moves toward the question of marriage. Directed by Rahul Shanklya from a screenplay by Divy Nidhi Sharma, the film looks light on its feet but pointed about the anxieties that shape modern relationships.
Nakhrewaalii is produced by Jio Studios and Colour Yellow, with Jyoti Deshpande, Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma backing the project. The trailer arrives with two weeks to go before the film’s October 30 theatrical release, giving the two fresh leads their first real showcase for audiences.
