The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has issued a fresh threat targeting anyone in the Mumbai film industry who works with Salman Khan, in the wake of Sunday’s firing incident involving Tiger Shroff in Juhu — though Mumbai Police have not confirmed any link between the gang and the attack.
In a purported social media post attributed to gang member Anil Pandit, the group claimed that he and Harman Sandhu were behind the firing at Tiger Shroff’s vehicle near Pushpa Park on Sunday evening. “Anyone in the Mumbai film industry who does not listen to us or works with Salman Khan will be next. Wait and watch,” the post read, according to media reports.
The gang has also demanded a public apology from Salman Khan to the Bishnoi community. An audio clip shared by the Mumbai crime branch reportedly features Anil Pandit asking the actor to apologise to Lawrence Bishnoi and the community.
Meanwhile, three suspects have been arrested in Rajasthan’s Kota in connection with the firing, and police are probing a possible Bishnoi gang link. Tiger Shroff escaped unharmed in the attack, while his driver Firdos sustained injuries to his hand.
The developments mark a sharp escalation in the long-running feud between the gang and the actor, which traces back to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Salman has faced repeated threats from the gang, including the April 2024 firing outside his Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra.
