It took Siddharth Anand just two words to send Shah Rukh Khan’s fans into overdrive. On October 29, the King director posted a single unexplained word on X: “It’s”. In the early hours of October 30, he added three more: “Time For The World”. No poster, no hashtag, no explanation — and precisely because of that, the internet did the rest.
The timing is what turned two fragments into a frenzy. Shah Rukh Khan turns 61 on November 2, and November 2 has become King announcement day: in 2025, Anand posted “Remember, there is only one king” in the run-up to the birthday, and the film’s first look followed on the day itself. Fans are now reading the new posts as the opening of the same playbook, and widespread anticipation has built that an explosive teaser could arrive as a birthday treat. Nothing has been confirmed, and neither Anand nor the makers have said what the posts refer to — the speculation is the story, and it should be read as exactly that.
What is confirmed is the scale of what is being teased. King, directed by Anand and produced by Gauri Khan, Anand and Mamta Anand under Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, reunites Khan with his Pathaan director for a high-octane action thriller releasing in cinemas on December 24, 2026. The ensemble includes Suhana Khan in a pivotal lead role marking her theatrical debut, Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist, and Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma. Reports this week also suggest a grand introductory song in the spirit of Om Shanti Om’s ‘Deewangi Deewangi’, with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arshad Warsi among those filming portions under choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant — though the full line-up for that number has not been officially announced. If November 2 brings the teaser, it will be the loudest birthday gift of the year. If it brings another one-liner, fans will decode that too.
