The rain has arrived in Sooraj R. Barjatya’s world. “Saawan Aaya Hai,” the new romantic track from Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya, is out now, pairing Shreya Ghoshal and Keshav Anand on a monsoon love song composed by Himesh Reshammiya, with lyrics by Mayur Puri and music production by Meghdeep Bose.
The video leans into everything Barjatya’s romances are loved for — large-scale family warmth, playful chemistry between the leads, and the monsoon as a backdrop for new love. Ayushmann steps into the filmmaker’s beloved Prem character for the first time, with Sharvari opposite him, and the song is the fourth track to arrive from the film after the title track, “Jai Ambe Bol” and “Jhumka Patola.”
Yeh Prem Mol Liya, produced by Rajshri Productions with Mahaveer Jain Films, reaches cinemas on November 27, with Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa and Saumya Tandon among its ensemble cast. If “Saawan Aaya Hai” is any indication, the film’s soundtrack is shaping up to be one of the season’s most melodic.
