Ranveer Singh’s spy blockbuster Dhurandhar: The Revenge is now chasing a different kind of record. After a reported ₹1,852.44 crore worldwide box-office run, T-Series and Aditya Dhar’s B62 Studios have launched a Grammy campaign for the film’s soundtrack, submitting composer Shashwat Sachdev’s work across nine categories at the 69th Annual Grammy Awards, scheduled for February 7, 2027. The campaign was announced on October 9 with the message “DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE for your GRAMMY consideration. Thank you for all the love.”
The full album has been entered for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, while individual tracks spread across genres. Arijit Singh’s “Phir Se” goes up for Best Song Written for Visual Media; “Aari Aari” — featuring Bombay Rockers, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas, Reble, Token and Sudhir Yaduvanshi — targets Best Asian Pop Music Performance; “Kanhaiyya” and “Jaan Se Guzarte Hai” compete for Best Global Music Performance; “Jaiye Sajana” (Jasmine Sandlas, Satinder Sartaaj) eyes Best Pop Duo/Group Performance; “Destiny – Mann Atkeya” is in for Best Rap Performance; “Vaari Jaavan” for Best Dance/Electronic Recording; and “Hum Pyaar Karne Wale” for Best Remixed Recording.
A note of caution: submissions are not nominations. The entries must clear the Recording Academy’s eligibility checks and voting rounds before the final nominees are announced. Still, a nine-category push is a rare and ambitious international play for a Hindi film soundtrack, and it keeps Dhurandhar‘s remarkable year firmly in the global spotlight.
