Years after Tera Yaar Hoon Main became the definitive Bollywood friendship anthem, its creative team has reunited. Arijit Singh, composer Rochak Kohli, lyricist Kumaar and producer Luv Ranjan are back together for “Purane Din,” the latest song from Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar — and this time they’re chasing a different emotion.
Where Tera Yaar Hoon Main celebrated the loyalty of friendship, “Purane Din” turns inward to the innocence of first love: stolen glances across a classroom, quiet crushes and evenings that belonged to friends. Arijit Singh’s voice carries a soft, soulful soundscape built around memories that feel familiar yet new.
The song adds another emotional layer to the Luv Films project, which follows six young protagonists — Tushar Chhibber, Sargun Kaur Luthra, Kunal Vaid, Sakshi Vaidya, Sparsh Walia and Alisha Chopra — through friendship, feelings and the beginnings of their love stories. Directed by Anuj Saini and produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar arrives in cinemas on October 23, 2026. “Purane Din,” released on the T-Series label, is out now.
