Yash Raj Films has finally put a name to one of its most-watched young pairings. On October 26, the studio announced Beparwah, a romantic action drama starring Ahaan Panday and Sharvari, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and due in cinemas worldwide on March 26, 2027. Here are five things to know about the film.
1. The title reveal was timed to the calendar. YRF unveiled Beparwah alongside a teaser poster exactly five months before its March 26, 2027 release, turning the announcement itself into a countdown moment for fans of both leads.
2. It pairs two of the industry’s fastest-rising young stars for the first time. Ahaan Panday, who broke out with Saiyaara earlier this year, stars opposite Sharvari in their first on-screen collaboration, a pairing the studio is clearly betting can carry a big-screen romance.
3. For Ahaan, it is a second outing with YRF. After his debut in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara opposite Aneet Padda, Beparwah keeps him inside the YRF fold — this time in romantic action territory rather than pure romance.
4. Ali Abbas Zafar is back at YRF. The director returns to the banner behind his earlier hits Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, reuniting with producer Aditya Chopra for a film shot across the United Kingdom and India.
5. The genre mix is deliberate. Described as a romantic action drama, Beparwah blends the love story both leads are known for with the large-scale action Zafar built his reputation on — a combination aimed squarely at a theatrical audience.
