Ali Zafar is reportedly heading into Pakistani television drama with a new crime series, in what would mark a major small-screen move for the singer-actor. The project is said to also feature Humaima Malik and Feroze Khan in a star-studded, high-budget production.
According to an insider report, director Anas Ali is attached to the series, which is being positioned as a significant opportunity for everyone involved. Details on the story, channel and premiere timing have not yet been confirmed in the reports seen so far.
If it goes ahead as reported, the series would be a notable addition to the current wave of high-profile Pakistani dramas, pairing three well-known names in a genre that has been drawing strong online attention this month. More will be clear once an official announcement follows.
