Real-life couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have given fans their first glimpse of Tu Hai Meri Kiran, and the poster wastes no time establishing the stakes. The first look shows the two seated at a table — she looks away while he watches her intently — under the tagline: “She found a connection. He found an obsession.” Sonakshi posed the film’s central question to her followers: where does one draw the line between love and obsession? The romantic thriller arrives in cinemas on October 23, 2026.
Written and directed by Karan Rawal and produced by Vishal Rana under Echelon Productions in association with PAM Studios and AND Productions, the film is the couple’s second on-screen collaboration after 2022’s Double XL — and their first since their wedding in June 2024. The title itself carries a wink for Bollywood fans, borrowing from the iconic song associated with Darr’s Kiran.
The makers are also playing an unconventional card with the trailer. Instead of dropping it online first, the 2-minute-17-second trailer will premiere in cinemas, playing before releases like Drishyam The Conclusion, Digger and Verity from October 2 onward, with the digital release following a few days later. It’s a confident, big-screen-first gamble — and one that could make Tu Hai Meri Kiran one of the most talked-about trailers of the season.
