Coke Studio’s NU.WAV platform keeps rolling out new talent, and this time it’s Asim Azhar’s turn. The Pakistani pop star has released a new collaboration titled “Maheya” on the platform, marking his entry into Coke Studio’s contemporary wing.
NU.WAV has been positioning itself as the home for Pakistan’s new sound, following recent drops like “Rangeen,” and Azhar’s inclusion signals the platform’s intent to bring established voices into its experimental fold.
For Azhar, who has spent the last few years building a catalog of crossover hits, the track is another reminder of how quickly Pakistani music’s next chapter is taking shape — one streaming-friendly release at a time.
